Sue Hare

Knitted items for children

Sue has lived in Orford for nearly 13 years.  Sue and her husband Norman moved here in 2006 when she took early retirement after working for 35 years in London.

Sue loves living here, especially after the hectic life of the big city.

She really enjoys knitting, finding it very therapeutic, as she started many, many years ago having been taught by her mother and she in turn was taught by her mother.

Over the years she has knitted many  items for her  nephew, niece and goddaughter.  And more recently, now for her great-niece and her goddaughter’s daughter. She is already knitting for her next great-niece, expected later in the year.

She recently started to produce knitted goods to sell and much love goes into the production of each handmade garment.

Sue also enjoys reading, walking and jigsaw puzzles.
