Painter and Printmaker
Graham Spice was born in Sittingbourne, Kent and studied at Medway College of Art He worked as a graphic designer in London for leading design groups before running his own agency. Now living and working in Suffolk, he divides his time between design and his artwork, creating strong graphic linocut prints and iconic images (many of the Suffolk coastal region), painted in the finest detail.
Each of his prints is cut from a single block of lino, printing the lightest colour first, then cutting into the same block to produce the second colour and so on until the final results is achieved. This means that a cut can never be reprinted.
All prints use linseed oil inks and are printed on acid free paper (unless stated).
Graham also has the distinction of being the first artist to exhibit in our Hayloft in May and June 2018. We hold a selection of his prints in the centre.
